Authorities have given up the search for a Florida man that fell in a 50-60 feet deep sinkhole beneath his home.
Jeff Bush was sleeping in his bed Thursday night when the
floor beneath his room had given in.
As a result, Bush fell through the sinkhole and has not been
spotted down there, despite search efforts.
Officials said that the search had come to a point where
“it’s really not possible to recover the body.”
CBS reports that Bush's brother, Jeremy Bush, said that someone came to check for sinkholes months ago, but they said that there was nothing wrong.
The house is scheduled to be demolished.
