The India branch of Ford Motors and ad agency JWT India made an apology Monday for an unauthorized ad that had three women gagged and bound in the back of a Ford Figo.
A Ford spokesman said the ad came about during an ad
competition by a team that was conducting a creative exercise.
Ford said this in a prepared statement:
"We deeply regret this incident and agree with our agency partners that it should have never happened. The posters are contrary to the standards of professionalism and decency within Ford and our agency partners.”

In one of the ads submitted (Center), former Italy prime minister
Silvio Berlusconi is seen smiling from the driver’s seat of the car with the
women mentioned in the back.
The other ads included caricatures of Paris Hilton with the Kardashian sisters bound in the back (Right), and Formula One driver Michael Schumacher with his competition in the back (Left).
