New York City Officer Gilberto Valle was convicted Tuesday on
charges of plotting to kidnap, cook, and eat several women.
Analysis of the officer’s computer showed that he was taking
steps in order to kidnap the women, one of which was his wife.
The Associated Press reports that Valle has an “admitted
fetish for talking on the Internet about cannibalism”.
Lawyers on Valle’s defense said that what was found on the
computer was the officer playing out a fantasy created while he browsed fetish
websites.
The 28-year-old convicted officer faces life in prison.
