Details were released Thursday of a secret operation that led to the apprehension of a man said to be the son-in-law of Osama bin
Laden.
Sualiman Abu Ghaith was captured in Jordan last week and is
currently being held in New York on federal charges.
Abu Ghaith is referred to as “the official spokesperson of
al Qaeda” in regards to taking his position after the September 11, 2011
attacks.
Former chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee
Peter King credits the CIA and FBI with the capture of Abu Ghaith.
