A woman who left behind a husband and two kids and went
missing eleven years ago has reappeared in Florida.
Brenda Heist turned herself into local authorities saying
that she might be wanted in another county in the state.
Heist dropped her kids off at a school in Pennsylvania in 2002 and told them she would not be home because she would be grocery shopping.
Stresses in her life are said to be the likely cause of her
leaving.
She joined a group of drifters and went away until recently
being rediscovered.
A Pennsylvania police officer contacted Heist’s husband and
says that “he’s dealing with it very well.”
