The South Korean Defense Ministry reports that North Korea
fired three short-ranged guided missiles into its east coast waters on
Saturday.
The ministry said two missiles were fired in the morning,
then a third missile in the afternoon.
The missiles launched were KN-02 missiles and only have a range of 75 miles.
A spokesman for the ministry said the North’s intent was unclear, but the ministry is watching them “carefully”.
