NRA CEO Links Boston Bombing to Gun Control Laws Struggle

NRA CEO Wayne LaPierre tied the recent Boston bombing with the gun control laws during a speech at the NRA annual convention on Saturday,

LaPierre made referenced to those in Boston being “imprisoned behind the locked doors of their homes” during the bombing.

"How many Bostonians wish they had a gun two weeks ago?" was one of the statements made by the CEO during his speech.

LaPierre also said that the recent shootings around the country have been used to blame and shame the NRA.

Speaking out to the crowd at the convention, Lapierre said that the NRA will "never surrender [their] guns, never."
