The clothing factory collapse in Bangladesh over a week ago
has had its death toll reach more than 600.
Local authorities said on Sunday that the death toll is now
622 after more than 200 bodies were recovered since Wednesday.
An architect from the firm that designed the collapsed building
said on Sunday that the building wasn’t structurally sound to handle heavy
industrial equipment.
In addition to the equipment, three floors were illegally added
to the original design of the building, which some believe could have played a
role in the collapse.
