Storm chasers Tim Samaras, Paul Samaras, and Carl Young were among six others that died in a storm Friday evening.
The documentation of the tornadoes the men had chased in the past had been featured on Discovery Channel’s “Storm Chasers”.
ABC reported on Sunday that Tim Samaras was found inside his vehicle
with his seatbelt still on.
One of the other men was found a half-mile away from their
vehicle.
“It’s kind of an eye-opener, even to veterans like myself,”
says local meteorologist and storm chaser David Payne. "It doesn't matter how many - just when you think you understand them exactly - they're unpredictable - and we're all at risk."
