Eighteen-year-old cheerleader Monita Marie Parker is accused
of using her sophomore teammate as a prostitute.
The Hopkins High School senior has been charged with
second-degree felony sex trafficking and solicitation, inducement, and
promotion of prostitution.
Parker allegedly used a Backpage.com ad for her teammate, drove
the girl to a man’s home to engage in oral sex, then collected the $60.
The sophomore’s mother contacted the police after seeing
text messages her daughter had with Parker.
Parker is scheduled for a June 12 court appearance.
This could be the start of a frightening new trend of cheerleader pimps.
