Navy SEALS Punished for Consulting for Video Game

Seven U.S Navy SEALS have charges brought against them due to their consultating with the creation of a video game.

The charges included unauthorized display of their combat gear and disclosure of classified material.

The SEALS acted as consultants for the video game company Electronic Arts in order to add realism to the game Medal of Honor: Warfighter.

Those who were found guilty of the charges were punished by having their payments taken for two months and received a letter of reprimand.

The SEALS involved were part of the secretive commando team Seal Team Six, including one who assisted in the operation against Osama Bin Laden.

Their chances of being promoted within the military have been severely reduced.
