Israel Fires Warning Shot Missile into Syria

Israel has fired a missile as a warning shot into Syria.

The Israeli military has said that a mortar hit a post in Golan Heights, but did not bring injury or damage.

Israel believes that the mortar landing in Israel territory was an accident from the current Syrian civil conflict.

This conflict has been happening for over a year and has effect areas bordering Syria including Lebanon, Turkey, and Jordan.

Israel fears that should the regime of President Bashar al-Assad come to an end, the government would be taken over by extremists.
