Deaths Confirmed as Palestinian and Israeli Conflict Escalates



The first deaths of the current conflict between Israel and Syria have been confirmed.

A rocket hit an apartment complex in Israel, killing three people.

There have been 10 deaths in Palestine as a result of the current conflict between Israel and Palestine.

Israel has said that it is prepared to escalate the current conflict.

The head of the Palestinian Islamic military group Hamas was the target of an Israeli airstrike on Wednesday.

Hamas has said that Israel will pay a heavy price for the assassination of their military chief Ahmed Said Khalil al-Jabari.

President Barack Obama met with Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Wednesday night.

President Obama and President Morsi spoke privately and agreed that the current conflict between Palestine and Israel needed to be calmed as soon as possible.

Israel continues to extend its airstrikes onto the Gaza Strip and has said that this is only the beginning.
