An explosion that destroyed five homes and killed two people in November at an Indiana suburb
has been linked to three people who were charged today.
Monserrate Shirley, Mark Leonard, and Bob Leonard of Indianapolis have all been arrested on charges of arson and felony murder.

An investigation began in mid November and the cause of the explosion was found
to be from natural gas in the home owned by Shirley and Mark Leonard.
It was discovered that pipes from a fireplace were removed to allow the gas to buildup.
A microwave was then programmed to go off and trigger the explosion.
The Chicago Tribune reported that Attorney Randall Cables says Shirley and Leonard were at an Indiana casino when the explosion happened.
