U.S. Postal Service: Five-Day-A-Week Delivery

If you’re used to getting your Netflix DVDs in the mail on Saturdays, you might have to wait until the following Monday.

The U.S. Postal Service said Wednesday that it’s planning to deliver mail only five days a week starting in august.

Postmaster general Patrick Donahoe said the postal service’s financial condition is urgent.

His statement came in response to the 15.9 billion dollar loss the service suffered last year.

By cutting to only five days a week, the postal service says it would save two billion dollars a year.
