At least 60 students were asked to withdraw from Harvard
University on Friday due to their involvement in a cheating ring.
Harvard Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Michael D.
Smith wrote a letter Friday to students and faculty requiring the students to
withdraw from the university.
The cheating happened on a final exam given last May and was
noticed by a professor who found similar answers between a number of exams.
An investigation took place after the exams were turned in
and was concluded in December.
The Government 1310 class had 279 students and half of these
students were investigated due to belief that they have been cheating.
Yale Daily News reports that the exam was a take-home exam
but had restrictions on open discussion on its content between peers.
A take home? ROFL
