A truck that was transporting fireworks in central China
exploded Friday morning, killing nine people and injuring others.
The truck was traveling along the Yihang Bridge near
Sanmenxia in the Henan province when the explosion went off and took down a
260-foot section of the bridge.
Witnesses at the scene say that the explosion caused some
cars to be forced over the edge of the bridge due to the blast.
The cause of the explosion has not been determined yet by
local authorities.
