The 5-year-old boy that was kidnapped from a bus a week
ago in Alabama was rescued from his captor on Monday.
The boy, identified only as Ethan, is recovering in a
hospital and has his sixth birthday coming on Wednesday.
The captor, Jimmy Lee Dykes, was killed after FBI agents
stormed the hideout bunker where he was keeping Ethan.
Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson of Alabama said that Dykes
had a weapon during the storming of the bunker.
Federal authorities have not released specific details on Dyke’s death.
