A recent poll taken by Connecticut’s Quinnipiac
University shows that 51 percent of registered voters support legalization of
marijuana.
This poll was taken between November 28th and December 3rd,
and comes from a sample of nearly two thousand voters.
Results from the poll also show that men were more likely to support the
legalization than women 52 percent to 44 percent.
Colorado and Washington recently approved marijuana legalization, but the
federal government does not recognize this action.
Quinnipiac also found results of voters neck-in-neck about gay marriage
support, with 48 percent in favor and 46 percent against.
