Local authorities believe that the two inmates rappelled down 17
stories to street-level using a rope forged from bed sheets.
The facility has only been escaped from once before in 1985
by Bernard Welch, who was sent to 43 years in prison for murder.
The two escaped convicts are to be considered armed and
dangerous.
Any information leading to their arrest should be reported
to local Chicago authority or the Chicago FBI office at 312-421-6700.
