President Obama Gives Speech on Second Term Plan

President Barack Obama gave a speech on Friday speaking on his first plans for the beginning of his second term.

The president has invited party leaders to the White House next week in an attempt to discuss challenges that America will face in the future.

He also said that he intends to invite business, labor, and civic leaders in America to get their input on those challenges.

President Obama reminded viewers that the top priority in America was job security and growth during the current state of the economy.

The president also spoke on making the wealthier Americans pay more in taxes and that taxes would be raised if Congress could not reach an agreement.

Among things that the president spoke about his plan were rewarding domestic businesses, getting people the education needed for the workforce, and to make sure America is a leader in research, technology, and energy.

Reducing the national deficit by four trillion dollars over the course of a decade was a part of the plan that the President has in mind.
